I created my folder hierarchy format for a reason. What I don't want is just a giant large album of 200K unorganized photos in bulk or auto-organized like Google Photos does for example. I've copied these folders over to the NAS still organized like this, but the issue is viewing them on mobile devices and also uploading other photos, especially from my phone camera or that I've downloaded from friend's Facebook albums. 13+ year folders, with 12 month folders in each, plus event folders there are hundreds of them. I have folders for each year dating back to 2006, then each year folder has a folder for the months when I took photos, and then some of those have folders for specific events like "Disneyland 2017" or "St. ![]() ![]() ![]() These photos can be quite large in RAW format, but what I'm really having issues with is somehow migrating over the folder hierarchy I have on my PC where they currently are stored. Set up a new Synology 918+ NAS with 4x 10TB WD Red drives in Synology's SHR config.Īmong other things, I'm trying to create a larger, more reliable/redundant and accessible place for the ever-growing gallery of large photos taken with my Nikon DSLR camera (and phone camera).
